This Nourishing Beard Balm & Luxe Beard Oil Set is a perfect Father’s Day grooming essential, especially for the dads who wear their beard like a crown. Formulate it for special occasions or just every day beard maintenance. This combo is formulated to soften, nourish, and strengthen beards and have them healthy looking.

70% Isopropyl Alcohol
Mist Spray Bottle (to pour the Isopropyl Alcohol in and spray on surface)

A pan with water in it to use as a double boiler
02 The Method
1. Luxury Beard Oil
Prior to formulating, ensure that all your packaging, equipment and workspace is clean and sanitized. Put on nitrile gloves and cover your hair.

Combine all the ingredients together and stir until the mixture is clear.

Pour into the serum bottles and close tightly.

Label and Store.
This product is customisable with any scents of choice. Cool Waters Fragrance adds a clean fresh, scent to the product. You can sub the fragrance with any essential oil blends of choice like Cedarwood or sandalwood with cool essential oils like peppermint.
Usage

Use the Beard Oil after washing, when the beard is still damp to absorb the ingredients and lock in moisture.

Also use at any time we hydration is needed.

Best when paired with the Beard Nourishing Balm.
Safety Note

• Use within 3-6 months.
2. Beard Conditioning Balm
Prior to formulating, ensure that all your packaging, equipment and workspace is clean and sanitized. Put on nitrile gloves and cover your hair.

Prepare the pan with 2.5-5cm water and place in the stove. This will be the double boiler used to heat and melt the ingredients.

Combine all the ingredients under the heat phase, in a heat-safe container.

Transfer the container to the stove, and melt the ingredients gently on medium to low heat, using the double boiler method. Continuously stir the oil phase mixture to help melt them quicker.

Heat the ingredients up to 70°C or until they’re fully melted. Take care not to scorch the ingredients.

Remove the container with the melted ingredients from the heat and allow it to cool down for two minutes, and pour in the Post Heat Phase ingredients.

Stir as the texture changes in the mixture and becomes a little thicker.

As the mixture cools, add in the Cool Down Phase ingredients.

Stir well and as the mixture starts to congeal (thicken in the edges of the beaker) it’s time to pour the mixture into the tins.

Ensure not to allow your mixture to cool down completely, as it will set and harden.

Should the mixture harden before pouring, pop it back into the heated water bath to soften again. Stir and pour.

Allow it to cool down completely be for you close the tin with the lid. Label and Store.
