How the Calculation Works

  1. Cylinder Volume: Calculates the liquid volume of your jar space in cubic centimetres (cm³ / ml):
    Volume = 3.14159 × (Diameter ÷ 2)² × Height
  2. Wax Density Conversion: Multiplies the volume by the specific density of your selected wax to convert volume to weight in grams:
    Weight per Candle = Volume × Density
  3. Total Batch Weight: Multiplies the weight per candle by the total number of identical candles:
    Total Wax = Weight per Candle × Number of Candles
