KIDS MINERAL
BATH POWDER
This mineral bath powder for kids combines Epsom salts, Bentonite Clay, Sea Salt and Bicarbonate of Soda into a simple bath soak formulation. Cocoa Butter can optionally be included for some moisture.

| ¼ cup | Bicarbonate of Soda |
| 4g | Cocoa Butter (optional – for some moisture) |
Materials
Measuring Jug
450g Cosmetic Jar or Kraft Bags for packaging
A food blender or food processer if adding in the Cocoa Butter – grind to small bits
(Please note that you must have separate equipment for your skincare DIY’s from your standard kitchen equipment. Once you use the equipment for DIY’s it cannot be used for personal use)
Digital Scale
A pair of Nitrile Gloves
Recommended for sanitizing your workspace:
70% Isopropyl Alcohol
Mist Spray Bottle (to pour the Isopropyl Alcohol in and spray on surface)
A pan with water in it to use as a double boiler
The Method
Prior to formulating, ensure that all your packaging, equipment and workspace is clean and sanitized. Put on nitrile gloves and cover your hair.
Instructions

Weigh the powdered ingredients into a measuring jug

If opting to add in the Cocoa Butter. Grind it into smaller bits in a blender, and add it to the rest of the ingredients

Package, label and store.
Usage
01
Prepare a bath with lukewarm (not hot) water

Pour a cupful of the bath powder into the bath tub

Soak for 10 to 20 minutes

Use 1-2 times a week.
Safety Note
• Conduct a patch test before first use
• Don’t soak for too long because it could dry out the skin
• Only make this bath powder in small batches
• Do not use any metal equipment like no metal bowls no metal packaging and no metal spoons when formulating this bath
• This bath formulation is not intended to remove heavy metals from the body or replace medical assessment or treatment for suspected heavy-metal exposure.
• Always monitor children for any adverse reactions and seek professional guidance as needed.
• Use within 3 months
• Store away from direct sunlight and heat
