For cosmetic applications, we recommend first dissolving the powder in water to prepare a concentrated liquid colourant. A practical concentrated solution can be prepared using approximately:

- 10 g colourant + 100 ml water
- 20 g colourant + 200 ml water
- 50 g colourant + 500 ml water

Add the powder to the water and stir thoroughly until completely dissolved. The resulting liquid colourant can then be incorporated gradually into your formulation until the desired brown shade is achieved.

Because the colourant is highly concentrated, only a small amount may be required. We recommend starting with less and increasing gradually to avoid over-colouring your formulation.

If crystals or solid material form in the prepared solution during storage, stir thoroughly until redissolved. Preparing a more dilute solution, such as approximately 7%, may also help reduce crystallisation.
