How to Make Your Pillar Candle

1. Measure Your Wax: Weigh out the desired amount of wax needed for your mold.
2. Melt the Wax: Using a double boiler, melt the wax until it reaches 70°C.
3. Add Fragrance and Color: If desired, add your chosen fragrance oil and dye to the melted wax. Stir gently & thoroughly to ensure even distribution and homogenization of all elements.
4. Prepare the Mold: Thread the wick through the plastic mold, ensuring it is centered and secured through the bottom hole. Leave 5mm of wick protruding from the hole.
5. Pour the Wax: Carefully pour the melted wax into the mold, leaving a little space at the top. Ensure the wick remains centered by using our Wick Placeholder.
6. Let it Set: Allow the candle to cool and set for at least 4 hours.
7. Remove from Mold: Once fully set, carefully remove the candle from the mold.
8. Trim the Wick: Trim the wick to about 5mm before lighting.

Suggested Recipe for a Standard Pillar Candle:

• Soy Wax: 400g
• Fragrance Oil: 40ml (10% of total wax)
• Candle Dye: Few drops (optional for coloring)
• Candle Making Holder Long Pole

Volume for each Candle Making Holder:

• Small - 25ml or 22.5g
• Medium - 50ml or 45g

Method:

1. Melt 400g of wax in a double boiler until it reaches 82°C
2. Add 40ml of fragrance oil and a few drops of candle dye (if using) to your liking and stir gently.
3. Prepare your mold with the wick centered and secure.
4. Pour the wax mixture into the mold.
5. Let the candle set for 3 hours and trim the wick to 5mm.
