Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp Beeswax Pellets – Provides structure and ensures a smooth application.
  • 1 tsp Shea Butter (or Cocoa Butter) – Deeply hydrates and softens lips.
  • 1 tsp Coconut Oil – Adds moisture and a slight glossy finish.
  • 1/2 tsp Natural Colourant – Choose from:
  • 2-3 drops Essential Oil (optional) – For a subtle fragrance:
  • A small container or lipstick mould – For shaping and storing your lipstick.

Instructions:

1️⃣ Melt the Base Ingredients:

  • In a double boiler, melt the beeswax, shea butter, and coconut oil together over low heat. Stir occasionally until fully combined.
  • If using a microwave, heat in short 10-second intervals, stirring between each until melted.

2️⃣ Add the Natural Colourant:

  • Remove the melted mixture from heat and quickly stir in your chosen natural colourant.
  • Adjust the amount until the desired shade is achieved.

3️⃣ Incorporate Essential Oils (Optional):

  • Add 2-3 drops of essential oil to enhance the lipstick with a pleasant scent.
  • Stir well to distribute evenly.

4️⃣ Pour into Mould or Container:

  • Carefully pour the mixture into a lipstick mould or a small container.
  • If using a lipstick mould, allow it to partially set before inserting into a tube.

5️⃣ Cooling & Setting:

  • Let the lipstick cool and set at room temperature for 2-3 hours.
  • If needed, place it in the refrigerator for faster solidification.

Tips & Customizations:

  • For a matte finish, increase the beeswax slightly and use less coconut oil.
  • For extra hydration, add a few drops of Vitamin E oil.
  • Mix different natural colorants to create unique shades.
  • Store in a cool, dry place to prevent melting in hot climates.

How to Use:

  • Apply directly to lips for a natural, moisturizing tint.
  • Layer for deeper color.
  • Reapply as needed throughout the day.
