Materials

Clear Candle Jar + Silver Lid (315ml), 5x small bowls/beakers, Mini Donuts Silicone Mould, Wick Holder, Cotton Wick, Wick Sticker, 600ml Glass Beaker, Double Boiler Set, Digital Scale, 70% Isopropyl Alcohol.

The Method

Fruit Loop Embeds: Heat 200g wax. Divide into 5 containers (40g each). Add liquid dyes to reach desired vibrancy. Pour into mini donut moulds and allow to harden. Cure for 24 hours.

Prep Jar: Stick the wick using the sticker. Place a few embeds at the bottom. Melt 181g soy wax gently using a double boiler until it reaches 80°C. Stir evenly.

Fragrance: Remove from heat and cool to 79°C. Add 19g fragrance oil and stir well for one minute. Cool further to the pouring temperature (50-60°C).

Pouring: Pour into the jar, centering the wick with a holder. Once slightly set, add remaining embeds on top. Allow to cool and cure for 1-2 weeks before use.

Critical Temps:

• Soy melting point: 77 - 85°C

• Fragrance adding point: ~79°C

• Pouring point: 50 - 60°C
