- In a separate mixing container, combine all the Phase B ingredients.
- Stir well to ensure a uniform mixture.
- Add the Phase B mixture to the Phase A mixture and stir well to combine.
- Allow the mixture to set overnight in order to get rid of the clumps of Hyaluronic Acid Powder.
- Once the mixture has set, it will be a smooth gel. Pour into a suitable storage container and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Why I Used These Ingredients
Hyaluronic Acid: Extremely hydrating, preventing dryness under the eyes. It can also reduce puffiness, improve complexion, and reduce dark circles under the eyes.
Vegetable Glycerine: Hydrates the skin and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines around the eyes.
Euxyl K712: A broad-spectrum preservative used in skincare products to combat the growth of bacteria and fungi.
Distilled Water: Used as a solvent to dissolve other ingredients and increase their absorption and effectiveness.
Aloe Vera Liquid Gel: A powerful anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory, soothing inflamed and sensitive skin while also maintaining hydration of the skin.
Caffeine: The main active in this recipe. Reduces inflammation by constricting blood vessels, allowing it to reduce puffiness and dark circles under the eyes.
