Lavender Soap Recipe

Calm your skin and senses with this relaxing lavender soap! It’s super easy to make and smells divine!

What You’ll Need

  • Soap Mould
  • 250g Melt & Pour Opaque Soap Base
  • 250g Melt & Pour Lavender Soap Base
  • 10-15 drops Lavender Fragrance Oil 🌿
  • Dried Lavender Petals 🌸

Preparation Time

Total Time: Approximately 3-4 hours

  • Melt Ingredients: 15 minutes
  • Layering & Setting Time: 2-3 hours

Instructions

  1. Melt the Soap Bases: Melt 250g of the opaque soap base in a double boiler until smooth. In a separate pot, melt 250g of the lavender soap base until fully liquefied.
  2. Add Fragrance Oil: Add 10-15 drops of lavender fragrance oil to both soap bases and stir well.
  3. Pour the First Layer: Pour the opaque soap layer into the soap mould and let it set slightly, just enough to create a firm base.
  4. Decorate: Sprinkle dried lavender petals over the first layer for a beautiful look and soothing texture.
  5. Pour the Lavender Layer: Pour the lavender soap layer on top and sprinkle more lavender petals if desired.
  6. Let it Set: Allow the soap to set for a few hours until completely firm.
  7. Unmould: Once fully set, pop the soap out of the mould, and your calming lavender soap is ready to use!
