Prepare Oils: Simmer water in a double boiler. Measure Jojoba oil and Emulsifying Wax into a glass bowl, place over the double boiler, and melt the wax. Do not microwave.

Heat Water: Heat Distilled Water to about 54.44°C . Pour heated water into the oil mixture and mix with a frother or whisk for 30-60 seconds until off-white and opaque.

Mix and Cool: Let the mixture sit for 15 minutes, stir, and leave for another 15 minutes. Mix in the preservative, Vegetable Glycerin, optional essential oils, and Vitamin E. Pour into bottles, cover, and cool at room temperature for an hour until it thickens.
